Nigel Halliwell – Nigel has had a passion for photography since his late teens, even though he has been specific to large Format for the last 10 Years he still believes it is the photographer not the camera and their vision and how they see the landscape that can inspire others.

With this new company Taking-Time Nigel strongly believes it is the subject matter that is the key element and working the subject to suit the conditions is the factor to making successful images and this is an area he is still keen to explore and share with others.

Paul Franklin – From his early teenage years Paul has had a great interest in geology and how the underlying formations translate into the wide variety of beautiful landscapes across the British Isles. From the most rugged rocky outcrops of the north to the Jurassic coast in the south and the native plant life that each support.

He thoroughly enjoys being able to interpret this in landscape photographs: so as to be able to convey as much as possible of nature’s natural beauty. He hopes that by sharing what he sees that others can enjoy and be inspired by it too. Through Taking Time he intends to share this inspiration and help create images with like minded people.

While Paul mostly uses the 5×4 view camera for his landscape work he has been and continues to be a user of all camera types.
